Ayr United 5-0 Queen's Park: Dipo Akinyemi hat-trick as hosts go joint top

Dipo Akinyemi scored a hat-trick as Ayr United trashed Queen's Park to move level on points with Scottish Championship leaders Partick Thistle.

Akinyemi headed the hosts in front early on and struck his second before the break.

Having scored with his left foot, Akinyemi then netted with his right in the second half.

Brad Young and Ben Dempsey added further goals as Ayr as moved ahead of Inverness on goal difference.
