Arbroath sent opponents Hamilton Academical bottom of the Scottish Championship with a narrow home victory.

Bobby Linn struck for the hosts inside the penalty area shortly before half-time.

Hamilton's Daniel O'Reilly was sent off 10 minutes into the second period following a foul on Linn.

And, with no further scoring, Arbroath drew level on points with Accies but went above them on goal difference.
