World Cup 2022: Wayne Hennessy sees red as Wales lose to Iran

Wales are in danger of being knocked out of the World Cup after falling to a 2-0 defeat by Iran in a dramatic Group B match in Doha.

Welsh forward Gareth Bale was the game's lowest-rated player, scoring just 2.56 with BBC Sport readers, while Wayne Hennessey, who was sent off late on, averaged 3.83.

Ben Davies was voted Wales' best player with 4.14.

Substitute Roozbeh Cheshmi, who gave Iran the lead in the 98th minute was voted player of the match with 8.28, while Ramin Rezaeian, who scored second, was given a rating of 7.87.
