Dundee dropped to second in the Scottish Championship after a shock home defeat by second-bottom Arbroath.

A quick-fire double by Michael McKenna and Colin Hamilton put Dick Campbell's side two up within 13 minutes.

Dundee's Ben Williamson was shown a second yellow on the half-hour mark before Paul McMullan's strike and a Zak Rudden penalty levelled the score.

But the away side secured a vital win when captain Thomas O'Brien headed in just seconds after Rudden's penalty.

Dale Hilson rounded off a great team move to score the away side's fourth, with Arbroath now six points clear of basement side Hamilton and only four off Cove Rangers.
