Dagenham & Redbridge 2-1 Solihull Moors

Inih Effiong starred on his debut as Dagenham and Redbridge beat Solihull Moors to close in on the play-off places.

Effiong, who arrived during the week from Aldershot, opened the scoring in the 36th minute when he fired home a rebound after his initial free-kick was blocked.

The lead lasted only five minutes before Andrew Dallas' cross was turned in by Solihull's Bartosz Cybulski.

Effiong had penalty appeals waved away, but had the final say with a 73rd-minute strike worthy of the three points.
