Idris El Mizouni scored the goal that earned League Two leaders Leyton Orient a 1-0 win over relegation-threatened Crawley Town.
The midfielder, on a season-long loan from Ipswich Town, found the net for the second time in the week as back-to-back successes for the Londoners extended their lead at the top to 13 points.
The Os were dominant throughout, eschewing a host of chances that should have put the match to bed well before the final whistle.
The Londoners created eight clear chances before the break, with Aaron Drinan and Ruel Sotiriou both inches away from finding the target, whilst the visitors' only threat came from a cross from Kellan Gordon that just eluded Dom Telford.
The second half was just four minutes old when Kieran Sadlier broke down the left and found El Mizouni, who controlled the ball before placing his shot past Crawley's debutant 'keeper Ryan Schofield, on loan from Huddersfield.
Orient continued to dominate possession but were profligate in front of goal, though their failure to add to their tally did not prove costly.
Defeat sees Crawley drop into the relegation zone.
