Hartlepool moved out of the relegation zone in Sky Bet League Two following a last-gasp equaliser in a 2-2 draw at AFC Wimbledon.

The Dons had been leading 2-0 after Ali Al Hamadi and Diallang Jaiyesimi opened their accounts for the club, only for Dan Kemp's brace to snatch Pools a much-needed point which lifted them above Crawley.

Winger Jaiyesimi looked lively early on, teeing up Josh Davison who could only nod wide after 22 minutes.

Nine minutes later and the hosts opened the scoring when Lee Brown's superb cross was glanced home by Al Hamadi.

The hosts doubled their lead just after half-time as Jaiyesimi tapped in after goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk parried Ethan Chislett's low drive straight to him.

With Wimbledon seemingly in control, a superb 25-yard free-kick from Kemp turned the game on its head as the visitors threatened a tense finale.

And in the sixth minute of stoppage time, Hartlepool followed through on their threat when a looping David Ferguson cross was headed home by Kemp to complete the rescue mission.
