Salford maintained their League Two promotion ambitions as they came from behind to beat Newport.
Harry Charsley put County ahead after good work by Priestley Farquharson, but Callum Hardy levelled following a goalmouth scramble.
Conor McAleny burst through Newport's defence before his low shot that beat Joe Day to put Salford in front.
Substitute Matt Smith's stoppage time header from Elliot Watt's corner sealed Salford's win.
Salford are sixth in the table while Newport's second successive defeat leaves them in 18th spot.
Newport County manager Graham Coughlan said:
"Obviously you go 1-0 up and you certainly expect to defend your goal better. They've had two or three chances where Joe Day's come to the rescue, there were warning signs.
"We lacked that little bit of nous and that little bit of experience, game management. The timing of their goals was crucial - one before half-time and one after half-time.
"All we as staff can do is tell them, show the, educate them and at times they have to act themselves. It's a hard one to take."
