Inverness Caledonian Thistle moved to within five points of Ayr United in the Scottish Championship after coming from behind to win at Somerset Park.
Dipo Akinyemi struck to put Ayr in front, but that was quickly cancelled out by Sean Welsh's shot.
Daire O'Connor was sent off for the hosts for violent conduct just before the half-hour mark.
Jay Henderson netted from close range to put Inverness ahead for the first time and they saw out victory.
Ayr drop out of the top four and are one place above sixth-placed Inverness.
