George Oakley scored twice for Morton to seal his side a draw

Greenock Morton fought back from two goals down to draw with Scottish Championship leaders Queen's Park.

The hosts seemed to be nosing further towards automatic promotion with first-half goals from their wing-backs, the opener a low shot from Tommy Robson.

Marcus Oakley added a second from the right side, a simple knock home after some shambolic defending.

But two close-range George Oakley goals after the break meant Queen's Park's lead at the top was cut to two points.

Morton climb into the top four after stretching their unbeaten run to five games - and in four meetings with the Glasgow side this season.

Greenock Morton manager Dougie Imrie: "We were too passive in the first half. We showed them too much respect. I was calm at half-time, but we showed great spirit and character after the break."

Queen's Park manager Owen Coyle: "We were excellent. We were by far the better team. That's as good as we have been in a long long time."
