A second half brace from Paul Mullin secured a crucial win for promotion-chasing Wrexham at Bromley.
Mullin headed home James Jones' cross after 56 minutes to open the scoring, before scoring a spectacular overhead kick four minutes later to make it 2-0.
Bromley hit back when Michael Cheek tapped home at the back post, but could not find another late on.
Victory, and Notts County's draw with Barnet, sees Wrexham move three points clear at the National League summit.
The Welsh side also have a game in hand over nearest rivals Notts County.
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson told BBC Sport Wales: "It's a huge performance from us today to come away with three points.
"It was a hard game, but the lads were great, we had to show that bit of class.
"I felt the chances would come today if we kept playing and getting our wing-backs on the ball and eventually we got our two goals."
