Greenock Morton 1-2 Inverness Caledonian Thistle: David Carson nets late winner
- Published
David Carson netted a late winner as Inverness Caledonian Thistle maintained their revival with a Scottish Championship win at Greenock Morton.
Scott Allardice gave the visitors the lead nine minutes into the second half, only for Grant Gillespie's penalty to bring Morton level.
But Carson had the final say to secure a fourth win in five for Billy Dodds' Scottish Cup semi-finalists.
Victory moves Inverness CT a point behind fifth-place Morton.
Both sides have a game in hand on Partick Thistle, who occupy the final play-off spot and are five points clear of Morton.
