Aggie Beever-Jones scored a late winner for Everton against Tottenham Hotspur in the Women's Super League.
Nicoline Sorensen had given Everton an early lead when she drilled a near-post finish past Rebecca Spencer.
Tottenham equalised midway through the first half when Eveliina Summanen slotted into the bottom corner from Bethany England's cut-back.
Defeat means Tottenham are three points clear of bottom club Brighton having played two games more.
They have now lost 11 of their past 12 WSL matches - the exception being a 1-0 home win against Leicester.
In a game of few chances, Everton came close to restoring their lead soon after Tottenham's equaliser, but Izzy Christiansen's shot was blocked by determined Spurs defending.
Celin Bizet went close for the visitors when Courtney Brosnan allowed her shot through her legs, but the home keeper recovered and just managed to stop it going over the line.
Both sides appeared to have settled for a draw before Beever-Jones' late strike, the Everton substitute rolling the ball past Spencer to score only her second WSL goal.

Tottenham remain in trouble
Everton dominated the game and Tottenham struggled to create clear-cut chances to build on their equaliser.
Angharad James tried an ambitious shot from 25 yards out on the counter-attack, but her effort whistled narrowly over the bar.
Spurs remain in a relegation dogfight and will hope that England can continue to be influential. She has contributed two goals in her past three games and provided the assist for Summanen's goal.
