Now it's time for the international break for your women's football fix, with England's games starting on Thursday when they play Brazil in the Finalissima, before they take on Australia in a friendly the week after.

The front three of Jelena Cankovic, Sam Kerr and Guro Reiten were the ones who were implementing that high press.

From then it just restricted what Villa were able to do. They couldn't get the ball into the feet of [Kenza] Dali or [Rachel] Daly, or any of the other creative players.

Then they [the front three] scored the goals to put the game to bed. An impressive performance.

It's been a busy day of Women's Super League action, with Manchester United leading the standings after the weekend's action.

It has been such a professional job by Chelsea this evening.

It can't have been easy for them at the start [after playing midweek], but they just attacked from the get go, and their high press was just too much for Villa.

They have also been able to keep their level for almost the whole game, bar the last ten minutes after a few substitutions, and it just shows the hardworking, relentless team that they are.

Chelsea move up to second in the WSL standings after this weekend's action and will win the league if they are successful in all six of their remaining games.

This could have been a really tricky game for Chelsea, and perhaps a slip up for them.

Yet they've come at it really professionally, and put in a fantastic performance to win the game convincingly tonight.

Villa have not been able to cope with the relentlessness of Chelsea.

It's all over and Chelsea close in on the top of the Women's Super League.

A rather routine win for Emma Hayes' side. Aston Villa fought hard but couldn't cope with Chelsea's quality.

And Buchanan receives a late booking for her foul.

Ouch. Rahchel Daly is down after being shoved over by Kadeisha Buchanan.

Three minutes are added on at the end of this one.

It's quietened down as we approach the final few minutes of the game. Its been a big ask for Aston Villa to keep up with Chelsea and the visitors have been utterly dominant.

It's not been a good performance from Villa tonight. They will be disappointed that they haven't made more of a contest of it.

But anything can happen in the cup, so they will be looking to get revenge for this game then.

Johanna Rytting Kaneryd isn't showing any tiredness. She weaves behind the Villa defence but sends her cross behind the goal.

Gregory is active in the final third once again as she sends a cross towards the Chelsea goal, but her ball thrashes against the side netting.

Since she has come on, [Freya] Gregory has had a real impact.

Really unlucky not to get something from that attack then.

Less than 10 minutes to go in this one and Chelsea are firmly on course for victory.

Villa are searching for a consolation - but they won't get much more than that.

Chelsea make some changes.

Sam Kerr and Guro Reiten make way for Eve Perriset and Alsu Abdullina.

Rachel Daly is in behind the Chelsea defence once again as she drops behind Kadeisha Buchanan and meets Freya Gregory's ball, but her shot is blocked.
