Jay Henderson's strike sent Inverness on their way to victory

Inverness Caledonian Thistle maintained their play-off push by defeating Raith Rovers for a third straight Scottish Championship win.

On-loan St Mirren midfielder Jay Henderson made the breakthrough in 12 minutes from Cameron Harper's pass.

Nathan Shaw added a clinical finish nine minutes later as the hosts' storming start sealed the points.

Aidan Connolly and Lewis Vaughan were denied a lifeline by home goalkeeper Mark Ridgers.

Victory moves Inverness above Morton into fifth, five points adrift of the play-offs with a game in hand.

Raith are four points behind Inverness in seventh after suffering back-to-back defeats.
