Flint Town United's home Cymru Premier match against Caernarfon Town has been abandoned and a fan "seriously injured" after crowd trouble at Cae y Castell.
The hosts were leading 2-0 in a crucial game in the relegation battle.
Both sides were ordered off the pitch and half an hour later the clubs confirmed the game had been abandoned.
"A man who was seriously injured within the stadium during the incident has been taken to hospital in Aintree," said a North Wales Police statement.
"As a result of the disorder, the match was abandoned, and a large police presence remains in the area.
"A 24-hour dispersal order is now in place in Flint town until 6.30pm tomorrow (Sunday, April 9th)."
A Flint Town United statement said: "As a club we utterly condemn the appalling behaviour of a minority of individuals at today's game.
"We wish the two people who were injured a speedy and full recovery and would urge anyone with any mobile phone footage of the incidents to contact the police.
"Both clubs will be fully co-operating with the police to identify those involved.
"This is a very sad day for everyone connected with Flint Town United."
Jean Louis Akpa-Akpro and Anthony Stephens had put Flint 2-0 up before the match was abandoned.
