Inverness Caledonian Thistle move up to third in the Scottish Championship after coming from behind to defeat second-bottom Hamilton Academical.

Accies stay four points behind Arbroath - and two ahead of Cove Rangers - having played a game more than both.

Connor Smith's free-kick put Accies ahead with 18 minutes left, but Nathan Shaw fired a reply three minutes after.

And Billy Mckay's late strike secured a sixth straight win as Accies suffered a third consecutive defeat.

The hosts, stuck in the relegation play-off spot, had won all four previous meetings between the sides this season.

Having ended that run, Billy Dodds' team move three points clear of Ayr United, two ahead of Partick Thistle and four behind leaders Dundee, although their rivals now have a game in hand.
