Oxford City have joined Ebbsfleet in being promoted from National League South this season

Oxford City and Kidderminster Harriers will both play in the National League next season.

The Hoops beat St Albans City 4-0 in the National League South play-off final in front of their home fans.

Three hours later Kidderminster secured a 2-0 victory at Brackley Town in the National League North play-off final.

Oxford's win means they will play in the fifth tier of English football for the first time, while Kiddy return after a seven-year absence.

Two goals from Ashley Hemmings were enough to end Brackley's dreams of a first stint at the higher level - their sixth defeat in the play-offs in 11 seasons.

Hemmings took advantage of a defensive mix-up between Riccardo Lewis and Jordan Richards to race clear and open the scoring in the first half, and added a second on the hour to seal the win.

St Albans were dominated from the start at the RAW Charging Stadium and were out of it by half-time as Oxford scored all four in the opening 45 minutes.

Zac McEachran starred for the Hoops, creating goals for Reece Fleet and Josh Ashby and scoring one himself, with Antigua and Barbuda international Josh Parker adding a fourth in first-half added time.
