Aldershot Town 1-1 York City

Lenell John-Lewis struck a stoppage-time equaliser to rescue a point for York in a 1-1 draw with Aldershot at the EBB Stadium.

Aldershot started the brighter of the two sides and almost had an opener just four minutes in after Lorent Tolaj played in Jack Barham, but his effort was met by David Stockdale.

The Shots dominated the first period and broke the deadlock four minutes before the break after Barham and Aaron Moore linked up, with the latter letting fly with an effort which flew past Stockdale.

York almost grabbed an equaliser on the hour mark when Dipo Akinyemi found himself through on goal but his one-on-one effort was magnificently saved by Jordi van Stappershoef.

The visitors equalised at the death when Akinyemi's clever pass picked out John-Lewis who flicked home as both sides shared the spoils.
