Wrexham's Elliot Lee scored his fifth goal of the season

Barrow came from a goal down to earn a point at home to Wrexham in League Two.

Wrexham took the lead on 12 minutes, Elliot Lee slotting home a penalty after Ollie Palmer was brought down by Tyrell Warren in the box.

Barrow equalised on 52 minutes as Emile Acquah curled in an effort into the top right corner, leaving goalkeeper Mark Howard no chance.

Barrow rise to ninth in the table at this early stage of the season, while Wrexham are 16th.

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson said: "I thought it was a good overall performance.

"First half, the performance probably warranted coming in two or three nil up, we were in control and created some great chances. We probably need to be more ruthless in front of goal.

"All in all, what we have asked the lads to do this week is readdress the balance of our game. I thought they did really well."
