Elliot Lee scored a late Wrexham winner in a game which saw Paul Mullin return to action following his recovery from a punctured lung.

Luke Young had put Wrexham ahead before the break as his deflected shot looped beyond Ian Lawlor.

Modou Faal headed Doncaster Rovers' equaliser, his first goal since joining on loan from West Brom.

Faal met Joe Ironside's cross to level, but Lee claimed the points for Wrexham with another deflected strike.

Striker Mullin, Wrexham's player of the year in the last two seasons, came on with the score at 1-1 for his first appearance since he was injured during a pre-season friendly against Manchester United.

Former Scotland striker Steven Fletcher also came off the bench for the home side following his arrival at the Stok Racecourse on Friday.

Wrexham rose from 13th to seventh in the League Two table, while Doncaster stay bottom.
