Queen's Park 0-2 Dunfermline Athletic: Lewis McCann double earns visitors win at Hampden
- Published
A Lewis McCann double, including a stunning free-kick, gave Dunfermline Athletic a deserved Scottish Championship victory over Queen's Park.
After a goalless first half, which wasn't bereft of chances, McCann got the opener for the visitors at Hampden shortly after the break.
Sixteen minutes later, the forward rocketed a 30-yard free-kick into Callan McKenna's top-right corner.
The win moves Dunfermline up to sixth, a point and a place behind Queen's.
McKenna, the hosts' 16-year-old goalkeeper, had one terrific save from McCann and looked really comfortable with the ball at his feet.
But the teenager could do nothing about the striker's magnificent drive, which sealed a deserved three points.
