- Published
Ayr United secured their second Scottish Championship win of the season and moved to within three points of fifth-placed opponents, Queen's Park.
Two left-footed Logan Chalmers strikes put Ayr in command before Ruari Paton struck to halve Queen's Park's deficit.
Shots by Ahkeem Rose and Jamie Murphy gave the visitors a three-goal lead before the break.
In the second period, Barry Hepburn got one back for the hosts but Anton Dowds quickly netted Ayr's fifth.
There are four more second-tier games on Saturday.
