Greenock Morton 0-1 Airdrieonians: McGregor goal leaves Morton bottom of Championship
- Published
A battling performance from Airdrieonians saw them edge past Greenock Morton at Cappielow in the Scottish Championship.
Lewis McGregor's first-time strike whistled past Morton keeper Jamie MacDonald at his near post, and Rhys McCabe's side stayed strong at the back to keep out the hosts and earn back-to-back league wins.
Morton lacked the required composure in forward areas, especially front of goal, as they only managed one shot on target in the entire 90 minutes.
Dougie Imrie's side slide to the bottom of the league, while Airdrieonians sit fifth.
