Jack Baird (number five) sealed Morton's win

Greenock Morton beat Inverness Caledonian Thistle to move off the bottom of the Scottish Championship.

George Oakley struck from outside the penalty area to give Morton a 20th-minute advantage.

And home captain Jack Baird netted at close range 10 minutes from time.

Adam Brooks headed a goal back for Inverness in added time but it did not prevent Morton moving up to seventh, a place and two points behind the Highlanders.

Arbroath slip to bottom, a point off Queen's Park and two below Ayr United and Morton.
