Jersey Bulls manager Gary freeman says his side did not deserve to win as they lost 1-0 to AFC Croydon Athletic.

Olalekan Osideko's first-half goal was the difference as the club owned by musician Stormzy earned a first win under new boss Jermaine McGlashen.

The loss means Jersey drop to second in Combined Counties Premier Division South as an eight-game unbeaten run was ended at Springfield.

"I thought first half in particular we were off," Freeman told BBC Jersey.

"They've got a new manager and they wanted it, and you looked at it and it's not like us, they looked like they wanted it a little bit more than us.

"We let them play in that first half and gave them too much space.

"Second have we stopped them playing, but we haven't created too much so I can't say we deserve anything out if it really."
