Barry moved out of the Cymru Premier's bottom two as they beat Pontypridd United 2-0 on Tuesday night.

Harrison Bright gave Barry the lead after 15 minutes at Jenner Park.

Kayne McLaggon had a penalty saved by Ponty keeper George Ratcliffe but the Barry captain scored from the rebound.

Haverfordwest secured a much needed victory as they beat Penybont 3-2 at New Bridge Meadow Stadium.

Goals from Jack Wilson, Rhys Abbruzzese and Martell Taylor-Crossdale gave County a 3-0 lead before Jonathan Brown replied in first-half stoppage time.

Chris Venables scored his seventh league goal of the season for Penybont in the second half but County held out for the win.

Zack Clarke's penalty set Caernarfon on their way to completing a phase one double over bottom of the table Aberystwyth with a 3-0 win at The Oval.

Adam Davies and Louis Lloyd also scored for Richard Davies' side, who are fourth.

Newtown missed the chance to move up to second spot as their seven match winning run was ended by Cardiff Met.

Matt Chubb gave the hosts the lead five minutes into the second half at Cyncoed.

Aaron Williams levelled three minutes later but Harry Owen secured Met's 2-1 win in time added on.

On Wednesday evening, Connah's Quay came from behind to secure a point at home to Bala Town.

Osebi Abadaki gave Bala the lead but Jack Kenny's second half equaliser earned a 1-1 draw that sees Nomads remain in second spot, three points behind The New Saints.
