Raith Rovers 1-0 Dunfermline Athletic: Sam Stanton goal earns Scottish Championship win
- Published
Raith Rovers cut the gap at the summit of the Scottish Championship to four points after Sam Stanton's stoppage-time strike edged the Fife derby with Dunfermline Athletic.
Stanton skidded low into the net in the 93rd-minute to move Raith closer to leaders Dundee United.
Stanton had earlier been denied by Dennis Mehmet, who also thwarted Lewis Vaughan, while Dunfermline were denied by two fine saves from Raith's Kevin Dabrowski.
The defeat leaves Dunfermline in eighth place in their first season back in the second tier.
