Raith Rovers kept pace with Dundee United at the top of the Scottish Championship as an Aidan Connolly double floored hosts Greenock Morton.

The former United midfielder's first goals of the season had Ian Murray's side cruising at Cappielow as the sides headed into the break.

The hosts pulled one back within minutes of the restart through Iain Wilson to leave Morton at the bottom.

Rovers stay four points behind United with a game in hand.
