The Scottish Cup's third-round Fife derby is to be shown live on the BBC Scotland channel.

Dunfermline Athletic will host Championship rivals Raith Rovers on Friday, 24 November with a 19:45 GMT kick-off.

Rovers won their latest league meeting 1-0 in Kirkcaldy on Saturday thanks to Sam Stanton's 90th-minute winner.

Ian Murray's side have since stretched the gap between themselves and their neighbours to 12 points.

Tuesday's 2-1 win away to Greenock Morton was their third in succession, and stretched their unbeaten run to five, while eighth-placed Dunfermline have suffered three straight defeats.

Saturday was Rovers' second-successive 1-0 win over the Pars, having won at East End Park in the league in August.

However, James McPake's side came out on top the previous month when they took the League Cup group stage bonus point after a 1-1 draw at Stark's Park.

Championship clubs enter the Scottish Cup at the third-round stage, with top-flight outfits to follow in the next round.
