Queen's Park 2-3 Raith Rovers: 10-man visitors claim comeback win

  • Published

Ten-man Raith Rovers claimed a remarkable win away to Queen's Park to keep the pressure on Scottish Championship leaders Dundee United.

Rovers led through Lewis Vaughan's first-half strike before going down to 10 men when Euan Murray was dismissed for a lunge on Ruari Paton.

Queen's Park turned the tables with Jack Turner's fifth goal of the season and Paton's close-range strike.

But Raith hit back with two last-gasp goals to snatch victory at Hampden.

Jack Hamilton levelled in the 89th minute and a 92nd-minute penalty from former Spiders defender Ross Millen settled a topsy-turvy contest.

Rovers trim the gap on United to four points with a game in hand, while Queen's Park remain seventh.
