Rochdale 2-1 Aldershot Town

  • Published

Rochdale recorded just their second win in nine matches as they fought back to beat Aldershot.

The visitors took the lead after 37 minutes when Jack Barham's close-range strike from Lorent Tolaj's cross went in off the post.

Five minutes later, Dale equalised with a scrappy goal.

Jimmy Keohane tapped in for his fifth league goal of the season after Jesurun Uchegbulam had his initial shot saved by the diving Jordi Van Stappershoef.

The hosts' second-half pressure paid off as summer signing Kairo Mitchell headed home the winner 10 minutes from time following a corner and some great team play.

Tommy Willard fired wide from range in a bid for a late equaliser at the death, but Shots went home empty-handed.
