Duncan Ferguson's unbeaten record as Inverness CT manager extended to a sixth game but they had to settle for a draw against Dunfermline Athletic.

The visitors moved into a first-half lead when Danny Devine struck from inside the box.

Lewis McCann, Owen Moffat and Ewan Otoo were all frustrated as Dunfermline struck the woodwork seven times.

But McCann finally registered for the hosts, via the post, in the 87th minute.

Inverness, after three wins and three draws under Ferguson, move above Queen's Park on goal difference into seventh place, though the Spiders have a game in hand.

Dunfermline, who have also played one game fewer, are fifth, two points off Airdrieonians.
