Wales U21s to 'showcase' talent at home in Euro 2025 bid

Wales Under-21s boss Matty Jones is pleased to finally be at home in the 2025 European Under-21 Championship qualifiers.
Wales are unbeaten after three away qualifiers and are second in Group I.
They face group leaders Iceland on Thursday, 16 November and top seeds Denmark four days later, both at Rodney Parade, Newport.
"It gives us an opportunity to showcase what we're about to our fans," he said.
"I want to take the shackles off, and play with bravery in all areas of the pitch.
"This will be the perfect game against Iceland, they're a major threat and will be a good fight for us."
"This is the next step in the journey, different opponent, but nothing changes in our approach.
"One thing we need to be is up for the fight and up for the battle."
Wales began their bid to qualify for the finals with a 2-2 draw in Denmark in June followed by a 3-2 victory against Lithuania in September.
Cian Ashford's stoppage time equaliser in the Czech Republic in October saw Wales maintain their unbeaten start in the campaign and Jones said it epitomised the spirit in the squad.
"We will cherish that moment as a team, it will take us forward throughout the campaign," Jones said of the 1-1 draw in the Czech Republic.
"You can see the celebrations, you can see the togetherness and the unity and all the things we speak about with regards the work we do as a team.
"We play with heart, spirit and pride. That shows in all age groups throughout the system.
"We need to control the emotion and allow the quality to shine through."
