Kieran Trippier: Newcastle United defender withdraws from England squad for North Macedonia trip

Newcastle United defender Kieran Trippier has withdrawn from the England squad set to face North Macedonia on Monday.
England Football said the 33-year-old will miss the trip for the team's final Euro 2024 qualifier because of "a personal matter"., external
Newcastle confirmed Trippier "has returned home" after leaving England manager Gareth Southgate's squad.
England have already qualified as Group C winners for Euro 2024.
They beat Malta on Friday, with Trippier having played the whole game in a 2-0 win, and have 19 points from seven games.
Newcastle's next game is against Chelsea on Saturday, 25 November.
