The Scottish Cup enters its third round this weekend with one of the biggest ties - Dunfermline Athletic v Raith Rovers - live on BBC Scotland, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app.

It may only be November, but Friday's encounter at East End Park (19:45 GMT) will be the fourth meeting of the Fife rivals this season.

The sides met in the group stages of the Viaplay Cup group stage, a 1-1 draw with the Pars winning the penalty shootout for the bonus point.

However, Rovers exacted revenge over the next two Championship games - winning 1-0 home and away.

Sam Stanton has been something of a scourge for Dunfermline, scoring the only goal in both league encounters, including a 90th-minute winner last month.

Their last Scottish Cup meeting came in early 2019, when the Kirkcaldy side won 3-0 at Stark's Park.

The Fife derby is not the only tie on Friday, with Ian McCall looking for his first win as Clyde manager - and looking to avoid a shock - against visitors Jeanfield Swifts.

The giant-killing potential on Saturday is in Greenock as Morton host Bo'ness United.

Meanwhile, there's an intriguing Glasgow derby between Partick Thistle and Championship rivals Queen's Park.

Second-tier leaders Dundee United will be favourites away to League 1 Queen of the South but the Tangerines were also fancied against Falkirk in last Friday's SPFL Trust Trophy quarter-final and went down 4-2.

Elsewhere, League 1 promotion rivals Hamilton Academical and Kelty Hearts go head-to-head at New Douglas Park.

West of Scotland Football League side Pollok make the long journey from Glasgow's southside to take on Highland League Brora Rangers while Buckie Thistle travel from the north to West Lothian to take on Broxburn Athletic.

All of Saturday's games kick off at 15:00 and the draw for the fourth round, when Premiership teams including holders Celtic enter, will be broadcast live on Sportscene on BBC Scotland and BBC iPlayer, with the programme starting at 19:15.
