Haverfordwest County manager Tony Pennock has agreed a one-year extension to his contract which will see him in charge of the Cymru Premier team until the end of the 2025-26 season.

Pennock was appointed manager in July 2022 having previously been first-team coach at Hull City.

The 52-year-old guided the Bluebirds to the Europa Conference League second qualifying round in the summer.

"We are delighted to have extended Tony's contract for an extra year," County chairman Rob Edwards said.

"We always knew Tony would be a successful appointment for the club, and he hasn't let us down."

In May, European qualification triggered a clause in Pennock's contract which activated a one-year extension.

"It's been an eventful 18 months so far. I'm happy in Pembrokeshire and want to carry on the work we've started as a club," Pennock said.

"As long as everyone buys into our plans, I'm certain we will have lots to enjoy together."
