Blackburn Rovers forward Tyrhys Dolan has been ruled out for up to eight weeks with a knee injury.

The 21-year-old had to go off in the first half of Wednesday's 4-2 win over Birmingham City.

"We're extremely disappointed for Tyrhys because he's been playing really well lately," boss Jon Dahl Tomasson told the club website.

"We were afraid that it could have been cruciate ligaments. When you hear it's not, it's positive."
