Tranmere Rovers 2-1 Newport County: Connor Jennings' late goal seals comeback win

Tranmere Rovers stretched their unbeaten League Two run to five games as Connor Jennings' late goal completed a comeback win over Newport County.
Leading scorer Will Evans put Newport ahead with a crisp half-volley midway through the first half.
Omar Bogle might have doubled the lead before half-time, while Tranmere's Tom Davies saw a header hit the bar.
Kieron Morris deflected shot brought Tranmere level before Jennings' tap-in sealed victory.
The game look destined to end level after Morris saw a long-range effort hit the bar, before Jennings converted after Kristian Dennis hit the post.
Victory sees Tranmere climb to 21st in the table, while Newport - who lost Evans to an ankle injury in the second half - stay 15th.
Newport manager Graham Coughlan:
"It was a game of two halves really. We were very good in the first half, we passed the ball to each other. Second half I don't know what happened to us.
"We lost our composure, lost our ability to pass, we looked a totally different team. Saying that, we have got to take the opportunities we create.
"We seem to go 1-0 up in games and all of a sudden we think let's sit back. That's never been a recipe for success.
"I think we have chucked three points away today, through our naivety, lack of leadership, sinking deep and allowing people to shoot.
"Will [Evans] has picked up an ankle knock. We wanted to see if he could run it off but he couldn't. Hopefully it's not too bad."
