Adam Wharton: Blackburn Rovers midfielder signs new contract extension

Blackburn Rovers midfielder Adam Wharton has extended his deal until the end of the 2027-28 season.
The 19-year-old, the younger brother of Rovers defender Scott, has been with the club since the age of six.
He has scored twice in 35 league appearances since making his debut last August.
"We believe Adam is the English player with the highest potential outside the Premier League," director of football Gregg Broughton told the club website., external
