Aberdeen do not expect to lose top scorer Bojan Miovski during the January transfer window, says chief executive Alan Burrows.

The North Macedonian, 24, has 12 goals in 25 outings this term, adding to the 18 netted in 42 games last season.

Miovski has been linked with a January move, with Scottish Premiership rivals Celtic touted as potential suitors.

"We are in no rush to sell," said Burrows after the club's 120th annual general meeting on Monday.

"I can't give any assurances because I don't know what any other club is going to do. Our anticipation is Bojan will be here.

"Aberdeen have a player trading model that requires you, at times when it suits you, to sell. That has to be at the value you believe is right for the club.

"Bojan has demonstrated this season and last season he is a striker of supreme quality and I've no doubt is going to have a fantastic career at the very top level.

"He is good enough to play in the top five leagues in Europe and I think his value will be demonstrated when we do sell him, that's the level he goes to."

Burrows revealed Aberdeen plan to upgrade their Cormack Park training base, developing an indoor facility and providing their women's team with a permanent home.

The SWPL side currently play their home fixtures at Cove Rangers' Balmoral Stadium.

"We want to be the first club in the SWPL to have a dedicated women's stadium," he added.

"We are looking at feasibility in how we do that and how we afford to do that.

"We want to not only give the women a spiritual home, but also if we are going to grow that team we need to have our own home base and commercialise matchdays."
