Aaron Pierre: Shrewsbury Town centre-back signs deal until end of season
- Published
Shrewsbury Town centre-back Aaron Pierre has signed a contract extension to remain with the League One club until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old rejoined Shrewsbury - where he previously spent three years - in October on a short-term deal until January.
He has since featured seven times for the club, taking his overall tally of appearances for the Shrews to 106.
"Coming back to Shrewsbury has been amazing," Pierre told the club website.
"Signing in October is a challenge for any player. I knew it would take me time to build my fitness and that it would be an uphill battle to get into the team.
"But I believe in myself, I believe in my talent and believe in what I can do."
