The hectic winter schedule is upon us as five Scottish Premiership games take place on Saturday, with Motherwell hosting Rangers on Christmas Eve.

Here is the latest team news, plus some stats, and your chance to select the side you would send out if you were in charge.

All kick-offs Saturday 15:00 GMT unless stated.

Celtic v Livingston

Celtic hope to have winger Yang Hyun-jun back from a shoulder injury, but midfielder Odin Thiago Holm only returned to training on Friday following illness and is unlikely to feature.

Liel Abada and Reo Hatate are still not back in full training.

Livingston will be without captain Michael Devlin in defence through suspension, but manager David Martindale hopes to have everyone else fit and available.

Did you know? Celtic are looking to avoid suffering three straight top-flight defeats for the first time since 1994 - when they lost to Heart of Midlothian, Falkirk and Rangers - while Livingston have never won in 19 visits to Celtic Park.

Dundee v Aberdeen

Dundee could have centre-half Lee Ashcroft, on-loan Burnley midfielder Marcel Lewis and forward Diego Pineda back in contention after they missed last weekend's win at Ross County through injury.

On-loan Liverpool left-back Owen Beck has been struggling with a groin issue but is expected to be fit.

But defender Antonio Portales is out until after the winter break with a hamstring injury.

Full-back Jack MacKenzie's return from a hamstring issue means Aberdeen are at full strength.

Did you know? Dundee have won just one of their last 20 meetings with Aberdeen, losing 18, since a 2-1 victory in October 2021.

Heart of Midlothian v St Mirren

On-loan Rangers midfielder Alex Lowry is back in contention for Heart of Midlothian after a back issue, while defender Stephen Kingsley is expected to be fit despite going off at half-time in last weekend's win at Celtic.

But the hosts will be without Jorge Grant due to an ankle injury, while fellow midfielder Calem Nieuwenhof could miss out again with a hand injury, while Liam Boyce and Cammy Devlin remain sidelined.

Caolan Boyd-Munce, fellow midfielder Ryan Flynn and striker Alex Greive will be assessed with various injuries, but St Mirren boss Stephen Robinson hopes they will be available.

Forward Conor McMenamin has been ill and he will be given time to prove his fitness, but defender Ryan Strain remains out after groin surgery.

Did you know? St Mirren have gone seven away games without a win, losing five in a row and failing to score in the last four.

Kilmarnock v St Johnstone

Joe Wright is fit again for Kilmarnock and the central defender could be joined in the squad by Northern Ireland winger Matty Kennedy.

Striker Marley Watkins and winger Danny Armstrong have shaken off knocks, but midfielder Kyle Magennis will see a specialist after suffering a recurrence of a hamstring issue and Liam Donnelly and Innes Cameron remain out.

St Johnstone are set to welcome Nicky Clark back from a calf problem, but fellow forward Diallang Jaiyesimi is banned following his red card against Rangers.

Defenders Callum Booth and Sam McClelland are back training and midfielder Ali Crawford is improving, but winger Drey Wright is a long-term absentee.

Did you know? St Johnstone are unbeaten in four games against Kilmarnock, but Derek McInnes has won his last four home games against sides managed by Craig Levein.

Ryan Jack, Tom Lawrence, Nico Raskin, Jose Cifuentes and Danilo remain out.
