Richard Kone: Wycombe Wanderers sign prolific non-league striker from Athletic Newham

Richard Kone's signing will be completed following EFL and FA approval

Wycombe Wanderers have signed striker Richard Kone from non-league club Athletic Newham.

The 20-year-old has been on trial with the Chairboys since the summer of 2023 while continuing to play for Athletic in the Essex Senior League.

Details of Kone's contract at Adams Park have not been disclosed, but the club say it is a "permanent" move.

He has scored 21 goals this season and was paraded to Wycombe fans before Monday's game against Bristol Rovers.
