Blackburn Rovers: Brighton's Yasin Ayari and Aston Villa's Ben Chrisene join on loan

Yasin Ayari has won two caps for Sweden since his debut as a teenager in January 2023

Blackburn Rovers have signed Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari and Aston Villa defender Ben Chrisene on loan.

Sweden international Ayari, 20, played 13 Championship games for Coventry on loan this season, while Chrisene, 19, was on loan at Kilmarnock last season.

Ayari is 12 months into a four-and-a-half-year deal with Brighton.

"Yasin has good technical and physical attributes along with a great character," Rovers' director of football Gregg Broughton.

Broughton added that Chrisene would "bring additional pace and physicality to the backline, and is very comfortable in possession".
