Aberystwyth Town 1-0 Colwyn Bay: Ten-man Aberystwyth Town had Liam Walsh's goal to thank in this win. Mark Cadwallader was sent off as the first half drew to a close. Walsh struck soon after to ensure the home win that saw them finish the game one point ahead of second-from-bottom Colwyn Bay. Aberystwyth host the team immediately above them, Barry Town United, on Saturday, 14 January, the last round before the league splits. At the same time, Colwyn Bay host the team below them - Pontypridd United - with both teams hoping to boost hopes of survival.

The New Saints 8-0 Cardiff Met: The New Saints thumped Cardiff Met to remain unbeaten in the Cymru Premier this season. Ryan Brobbel and Brad Young both bagged braces in the latter stages of the first half after Met had Lewis Rees sent off. Adrian Cieslewicz and Declan McManus struck after the restart before Young completed his hat-trick. Rory Holden capped off a dominant display with a late effort. Victory moves Craig Harrison's side 15 points clear of Connah's Quay at the top of the table. Cardiff Met stay fifth. The Saints host Newtown at Park Hall in their final fixture before the league splits next weekend. Cardiff Met travel to The Oval to face Caernarfon Town.

Barry Town United 4-0 Newtown: Barry Town United moved six points clear of the relegation zone with a comfortable win over Newtown at Jenner Park. Defender Ben Blythe - on loan from Championship club Swansea City - struck twice in the first half for the hosts before Sam Snaith and Ollie Hulbert scored in the second half. Barry are ninth while Newtown stay fourth after defeat. Barry travel to Aberystwyth Town next Saturday while Newtown are up against league leaders The New Saints.
