Sam Lammers: Rangers loan forward to FC Utrecht until end of season
- Published
Sam Lammers has joined Eredivisie club FC Utrecht on loan from Rangers for the rest of the season.
The 26-year-old Dutch forward has scored twice in 31 appearances since moving to Ibrox from Atalanta in June.
Rangers have this month signed Wolves attacker Fabio Silva on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Utrecht are 13th in the Eredivisie and technical director Jordy Zuidam says Lammers "has specific qualities we can use within the team".
He added: "He knows the Eredivisie well, has gained experience abroad in recent years and can be deployed immediately.
"We are happy that Sam chose us and we can count on him for the rest of this season."
