Tranmere Rovers have agreed a deal with Blackpool for Rob Apter to rejoin on loan until the end of the season, while he has also signed a new deal with the Tangerines until the end of 2026-27.
The 20-year-old has made 21 appearances for the Wirral club on loan so far this season, scoring five goals.
Apter, who joined on deadline day in September, also has two assists.
"As soon as I knew I was wanted back, it was the only thing I wanted to do," Apter told the club's website.
Apter had returned to Blackpool when his first loan spell at Tranmere ended on 2 January but has now committed to the Tangerines for a further three seasons with the option of a further 12 months.
Tranmere manager Nigel Adkins said he was "delighted" to have Apter back for the remainder of the League Two season.
"His efforts towards our performances in the first half of the season were huge, and we're very happy to have reached an agreement to extend his stay here at Prenton Park," he added, external.
