Myziane Maolida: Hibernian sign ex-Lyon winger with 'undoubted potential' on loan from Hertha Berlin

Head coach Nick Montgomery says Hibernian have signed a winger with "undoubted potential to play at the very highest level" in Myziane Maolida.
The forward joins on loan from Hertha Berlin for the rest of this term.
The 24-year-old, who represented France Under-21s, came through Lyon's academy before scoring three goals in 22 games.
He joined Nice for a reported fee of over £8m in 2018, then moved to Hertha in another multi-million pound switch three years later.
"For us to have the chance to sign a player of this calibre in January is an opportunity we worked hard to make happen," Montgomery added.
Maolida has found first-team action hard to come by, though, with his 10 appearances this term all coming for Hertha's reserve team in the fourth tier of German football.
But Montgomery says the versatile attacker, who plays senior international football for Comoros, is "now hungry to get his career back on track".
"After numerous video calls, it was clear both parties really wanted to make this happen," the Hibs head coach said.
"Myziane can play centrally and wide, which is really important as we have been light in attacking options.
"I'm sure the supporters will be excited to see him and we will continue to search the market for additional signings."
