Huddersfield Town have signed striker Rhys Healey from fellow Championship side Watford for an undisclosed fee on a deal until the end of 2025-26.

The 29-year-old joined Watford from French side Toulouse last summer and scored twice in 14 appearances.

While at Toulouse, Healey scored 34 league goals in his first two seasons and also won promotion to Ligue 1.

"I really like what Rhys brings to the teams he plays for," Terriers boss Darren Moore told the club website., external

"He's a natural goalscorer; he finds ways to score all different types of goals, and has done at every level throughout his career.

"He's also a tireless worker and a clever player. As a defender myself in my playing days, he would be the kind of player that is a real pain to play against.

"I think his qualities will mesh really well with the other strikers at the club."
